GetUp’s Life Hacks that pays
Free Life Hacks helping clients take control of their finances and rewarding them for taking co-accountability.
Have you ever wondered, how it’s possible for companies to offer all the great benefits, they do to clients via loyalty or wellness programmes? Well, in most cases you either pay a joining and/or monthly membership fee or the cost of the programme is worked into the cost of their products and services.
Here’s a programme with a difference. No beans, bucks, points, or any of these confusing reward mechanisms. No joining fees, no membership fees, no inflated cost of service or products.
So how does it work?
It’s simple: When you become a Metropolitan GetUp Client, you decide to participate in the Life Hacks programme and use the Life Hacks to help you achieve your goals and earn rebates. In actual fact, with this programme, the more co-accountability you take for your own finances and goals, the more rebates you earn. We basically reward you for taking co-accountability by paying rebates to you for every Life Hack qualifying criteria you tick. Taking co-accountability for achieving your goals will result in cash rebates on your rebate anniversary, once a year.
Rebates are paid to you in one of the three ways:
- Cash can be paid directly into your bank account.
- If you need a little financial relief – use your rebates to cover your monthly payments towards your plan for a month or so.
Surely working smarter, and not harder makes sense? Life Hacks give you the intel and practical tools to improve your financial position by taking co-accountability for your financial life goals and doing things that help you move closer to them. In some cases you might be doing these already, so why not get rewarded for them?
There is no risk to you and no additional cost. In actual fact, by participating we rebate a percentage of your premium every year which you can spend, save or use in any way that makes sense to you.
The sole purpose of this programme is to help you grow and better manage your own finances. By doing so, we believe the right thing to do is to pay you a rebate to compensate for the accountability you take.
How do I participate?
To participate in the Life Hacks programme, you have to be a GetUp client and have a participating product. When you become a client with a participating product, you choose to partake. We will send you tools and information to help you achieve the Life Hacks as well as send you updates and reminders to give you the best possible chance of earning your rebates annually.
This is a growing programme
At present, we have three Life Hacks aimed at helping you improve your finances and your career. They are:
- Be a boss with credit
- Improved skills for improved performance and new career opportunities
- Be an all-star employee
Over time, more Life Hacks will become available to clients. The aim is to help clients, understand the important aspects, to take care of when it comes to personal finance. Life Hacks will also help clients to better understand the world of finance and enable them to be in the driving seat of their life and goals. You will have a thorough understanding of one’s finance which will help reduce the reliance on others to make informed decisions about the future.
